Samsung Galaxy A50 has an overall score of 83.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S8 Active's general score of 81.9. The Samsung Galaxy A50 construction is newer, way thinner and a lot lighter than Galaxy S8 Active. The Galaxy S8 Active features just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a better amount of pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S8 Active's CPU is just as good as the Galaxy A50 one, they have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores.
Galaxy A50 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same camera aperture, the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Galaxy S8 Active counts with a battery lifetime that's very similar to Galaxy A50's battery duration.
