The Galaxy A50 has a global score of 83.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S9's overall score of 83.3. The Galaxy A50 is a newer and just a bit thinner phone than the Galaxy S9, although it's a little bit heavier. The Galaxy S9 features a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per screen inch and a better 1440 x 2960px resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy A50. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S9 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a lot less MP camera in the back, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a larger back-facing camera sensor and a larger aperture to capture better low light captures.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A50 has longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy A50 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy A50, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S9, giving up some specifications.
