Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy A50 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1, having a overall score of 83.8 against 82.6. Although Samsung Galaxy A50 and the Sony Xperia 1 were only released 3 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A50 is a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter. Sony Xperia 1 features a brighter display than Galaxy A50, because it has a little bit larger screen, a way higher pixels number per inch of display and a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840px.

Sony Xperia 1 has as much memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Galaxy A50 one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Galaxy A50 features greater battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. Galaxy A50 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture and a smaller sensor shooting lower quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A50 also counts with faster 30 frames per second video frame rate and a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy A50 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it an easy decision.
