The Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than Galaxy A50's score of 83.8. The Xperia 1 III is a incredibly newer phone than the Galaxy A50, but it is a bit thicker and heavier. The Xperia 1 III counts with a little better performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM.
The Xperia 1 III has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has a lot better display pixels density, a little bigger display and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px. The Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a lot less mega-pixels camera in the back, and they both have the same aperture, the Xperia 1 III also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much larger camera sensor taking way higher quality photographs and videos.
The Xperia 1 III features a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A50, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A50.
