The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has an overall score of 86.6, which is slightly better than Galaxy A50's 83.8 global score. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 construction is newer, but much heavier and thicker than the Galaxy A50. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Galaxy A50 and the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 both count with extremely similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a little larger screen and a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 takes a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and video in low-light situations, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video quality, a much larger back camera sensor capturing way higher quality photographs and a way higher resolution camera.
The Galaxy A50 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has better battery duration than Galaxy A50, because it has a 4720mAh battery capacity.
