The Galaxy A50 has a general score of 83.8, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8's 83.3 global score. The Galaxy A50 is a just a little lighter device than Xiaomi Mi 8, but both are equally thin. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, although it has a bit smaller display, a just a bit inferior pixel quantity in each screen inch and a little bit lower 1080 x 2248px resolution.
Galaxy A50 counts with a bit more memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller sensor providing a worse image quality, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a larger aperture and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
