The Galaxy A50 has an overall score of 83.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE's general score of 81.4. Despite being the best in this review, Galaxy A50 is a just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker device than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also counts with a little bit greater pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a bit better processing power than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has 2 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy A50 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photography, it also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality pictures, a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Galaxy A50 has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 30% bigger battery size.
