Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, with a global score of 83.8 against 80.3. The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, even when they were released with only a couple of months difference. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a display that is very similar to the display in Galaxy A50, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater amount of pixels in each display inch.
The Galaxy A50 features a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A50 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A50 features a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Both have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy A50 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 both feature similar batteries performance. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with faster 120 fps video frame rates, a way more mega pixels camera in the back and a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
