Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A50 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, getting a global score of 83.8 against 81.1. Although Samsung Galaxy A50 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, it's design is somewhat thinner and way lighter. Samsung Galaxy A50 has a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better pixels quantity per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit superior processor than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has more internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting images or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor shooting way higher quality photographs and videos, a much better (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features greater battery duration than Galaxy A50, because it has a 26% bigger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A50 is also a lot cheaper, which makes this phone a great choice.
