Galaxy A50 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, getting an 83.8 score against 79. Galaxy A50's construction is lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although it was released just 13 months before. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's CPU is very similar to Galaxy A50's processing unit, they have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a little better pixel number in each inch in the display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video, it also counts with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a way larger camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Galaxy A50 features a much better storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy A50 also has more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has improved battery duration than Galaxy A50, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
