Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy A50s's 86.6 global score. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has a newer 11 version while Galaxy A50s has Android 10, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features. Although the Xperia 1 III is newer than the Galaxy A50s, it is a little thicker and heavier.
Xperia 1 III features a little better performance than Galaxy A50s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM. The Xperia 1 III counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has a little bigger screen, a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a lot better count of pixels per inch of screen.
The Galaxy A50s shoots a bit better photos and videos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and/or video in low-light situations, lower video frame rate and a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same video quality, the Galaxy A50s also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution.
Xperia 1 III counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little longer battery performance than Galaxy A50s, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
