Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is slightly better than Huawei P40, getting a score of 90.8 against 86.4. Although it's the best device in our current comparison, we must note that it is also a just a little heavier and a little bit thicker device. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has a more recent 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10 version, providing you some extra features.
Huawei P40 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels density. The Huawei P40 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy A51 5G. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and 8 cpu cores.
Huawei P40 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, and although they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also has a way larger camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and photographs, faster 60 fps video frame rate, a bigger camera aperture for better low light captures and a more mega-pixels back camera.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy A51 5G features just a bit longer battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is a better device, it is more expensive than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P40. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40, giving up a couple specifications.
