IPhone 12 Pro is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A51, with a 92.8 score against 85.5. The iPhone 12 Pro has iOS 15.x operating system, and Samsung Galaxy A51 works with Android 11 operating system. The iPhone 12 Pro is a newer and a bit thinner phone than the Samsung Galaxy A51, but it is also a bit heavier.
The iPhone 12 Pro counts with a more powerful processor than Galaxy A51, because although it has 2 less cpu cores , it also counts with more RAM and a 64-bits CPU. Apple iPhone 12 Pro features a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater display density and a little bit higher resolution of 1170 x 2532.
The Galaxy A51 has a much bigger storage to store more games and applications than iPhone 12 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy A51 also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy A51 features a way better battery duration than iPhone 12 Pro, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2815mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 features a much better camera than iPhone 12 Pro, because although it has lower video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a back facing camera with way more MP.
Although Apple iPhone 12 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A51. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone 12 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy A51, resigning some specifications.
