Comparison review
Galaxy A51 has a global score of 85.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 score. The Galaxy A51 construction is a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite, even when both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A51 has 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, so it gives lots of additional features and performance improvements.
Huawei P40 Lite and Galaxy A51 count with really similar screens, although the Huawei P40 Lite has a just a little worse pixel number in each inch of display, a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2310. Samsung Galaxy A51 and Huawei P40 Lite both count with quite similar processing units, and although the Huawei P40 Lite has a larger amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Galaxy A51 has a slightly better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera and a same size sensor, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a much higher video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 has much more storage to store more apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A51, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy A51 is more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
