Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is just a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, with an 85.5 score against 84.3. These phones include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A51 has an older 11 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy A51 construction is just a little bit thinner but just a little bit heavier than the LG G8 ThinQ, and both of them were only released with a couple of months difference.

LG G8 ThinQ has a better display than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel count per inch of display and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution. LG G8 ThinQ features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG G8 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM.

LG G8 ThinQ has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with just a little better battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 14% greater battery size.

Galaxy A51 captures much better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a much tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.

Although Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs more than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
