The Galaxy A51 is slightly better than the LG V40 ThinQ, with a overall score of 85.5 against 81.2. Galaxy A51's body is newer than the LG V40 ThinQ's, but it is just a bit heavier and a bit thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Galaxy A51 has the newer 11 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better pixels amount in each inch in the display. The LG V40 ThinQ features just a bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A51, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a superior camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a much smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor capturing lot better quality photos and a much more mega pixels back camera.

Galaxy A51 has superior battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 21 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs more than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy A51, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up some specs and features.
