Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is much better than the OnePlus 8 Pro, getting a score of 85.5 against 77.2. Samsung Galaxy A51 is a a bit thinner and somewhat lighter cellphone than OnePlus 8 Pro, even when both of them were released with only a couple months difference. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM.

OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a better display than Samsung Galaxy A51, because it has a greater pixels amount in each inch in the screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 3168 and a little bigger display. Galaxy A51 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A51 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB.

The OnePlus 8 Pro features a little longer battery life than Galaxy A51, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 8 Pro shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same resolution camera, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a much larger camera sensor taking much higher quality photographs and videos, faster 60 fps video frame rate and a larger aperture to take better low light photography and video.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy A51 is also a lot cheaper, making it an easy decision.
