Comparison review
The Galaxy A51 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A31, getting a global score of 85.5 against 81.3. Even though the Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy A31 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Galaxy A51 is just a little lighter and a little bit thinner. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Galaxy A51 has the newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy A31 has Android 10, offering lots of additional features.
Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy A31 both feature really similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy A31 has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a just a little better pixel count per display inch. Samsung Galaxy A51 has much more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy A51 has a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy A31. Both of them have 8 cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Galaxy A31 counts with better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A51, because it has a 25% larger battery size. Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, a same size aperture and a same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a way higher (4K) video definition.
