Comparison review

The Galaxy S20 is better than the Galaxy A51, getting a overall score of 94.8 against 85.5. The Galaxy S20 design has the same thickness than the Galaxy A51, but it is just a bit lighter. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but Galaxy S20 has newer 13 version while Galaxy A51 has Android 11, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and improved performance.

The Galaxy S20 has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S20 also has 8 GB more RAM. Galaxy S20 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A51, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of display.

The Galaxy S20 has just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A51, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy S20 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1000 GB. Galaxy S20's battery performance is very similar to the battery duration in Galaxy A51.

The Galaxy A51 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S20, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and a smaller back-facing camera sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a way more mega-pixels camera in the back and faster video frame rate.

Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A51. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A51, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
