Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a little bit better than the Galaxy A51, getting a general score of 92.3 against 85.5. Both devices in our current comparison use the same Android 11 OS. Galaxy Z Flip 5G's body is just a little bit heavier but a bit thinner than the Galaxy A51, and both were only released with a couple of months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy A51, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2636 pixels resolution, a bit larger screen and a just a little greater display density.
Samsung Galaxy A51 takes better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a way better resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 has just a bit more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A51 counts with greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because it has a 21% bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A51. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A51, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
