Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has an overall score of 94.6, which is much better than the Galaxy A51's global score of 85.5. Both devices in our current comparison work with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Even though Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy A51 were released with only a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is thinner but also extremely heavier.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a screen that's very similar to the screen in Galaxy A51, because although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little lower pixel amount in each inch of screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1768 x 2208px and a larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 8 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy A51 takes better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A51 features a slightly bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A51, because it has a 13% more battery size.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A51. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy A51, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
