The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, having a score of 91.3 against 77.7. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has the older 12 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Despite being the best phone we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G body is heavier and a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a screen that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy A52 5G's display, although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a little bit smaller screen, a little lower 1080 x 2280 resolution and a bit lower count of pixels per inch of display. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's processor is very similar to the CPU in Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, both have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
The Galaxy A52 5G has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A52 5G also has a bigger aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited environments, a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality pictures.
Galaxy A52 5G features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A52 5G also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1 TB. The Galaxy A52 5G counts with better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 34 percent bigger battery capacity.
