Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A40 has older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy A54 5G has Android 13. The Galaxy A40 has a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy A54 5G, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Galaxy A40 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A54 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2340px resolution, it also counts with a quite higher number of pixels in each display inch. Samsung Galaxy A40 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse 16 MP resolution.
The Galaxy A40 features a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A54 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G features a superior battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
