Comparison review
Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G's overall score of 75.1. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has Android 14. Galaxy A55 5G features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better number of pixels per screen inch and a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has a bit bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with an extremely better CPU than Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy A42 features a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, although it has a back-facing camera with less MP. Galaxy A42's battery performance is just as good as Galaxy A55 5G's battery life.
