Comparison review
HTC One M9 has a general score of 77.7, which is a bit better than Galaxy A6's score of 75.8. Even though the HTC One M9 is older and way thicker than the Galaxy A6, it's design is still just a little lighter. HTC One M9 counts with a greater processing power than Galaxy A6, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount, the HTC One M9 also has an extra graphics processor and a 64-bit CPU.
HTC One M9 counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy A6, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a higher pixels density. The Galaxy A6 has a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A6 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 400 GB.
HTC One M9 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a camera with a better 20 mega pixels resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better photo and video quality.
Galaxy A6 has a little longer battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although HTC One M9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A6. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A6, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
