Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a general score of 78.7, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A6's score of 75.8. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a a little heavier phone than Samsung Galaxy A6, but they have the same thickness. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little bit better performance than Galaxy A6, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a brighter display than Galaxy A6, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has just a bit better camera than Galaxy A6, because although it has a camera with way less MP resolution, a lot smaller camera aperture which is worse for capturing photos in poorly lited environments and a tinier back-facing camera sensor, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a slightly bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A6, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A6. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A6, resigning some features and specifications.
