Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is much better than the Galaxy A6's global score of 75.8. Galaxy S6 Edge is an noticeably older cellphone than the Galaxy A6, but Samsung made it lighter and just a bit thinner. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better processor than Galaxy A6, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU and 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a graphics co-processor and a 64-bit CPU.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a much sharper screen than Galaxy A6, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher pixels amount per inch in the display and a way better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy A6 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor shooting worse quality images, and they both have a 16 MP resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A6 also counts with a bigger aperture for better low light captures.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a slightly better memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Galaxy A6 features just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A6. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy A6, letting go some features and specs.
