The Galaxy S7 edge has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A6's score of 75.8. Galaxy S7 edge's construction has the same thickness than the Galaxy A6, but it's a little lighter. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A6, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM memory.
The Galaxy S7 edge features a better screen than Galaxy A6, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater screen density and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Galaxy S7 edge captures a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a back facing camera with a way lower resolution, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S7 edge also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger back camera sensor taking better quality videos and pictures.
The Galaxy A6 has a bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A6 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy S7 edge features better battery life than Galaxy A6, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A6. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A6, letting go a couple specs and features.
