Comparison review
The Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A6's global score of 75.8. Xperia 1's body is newer, but just a little heavier and a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A6. The Xperia 1 counts with a way better looking display than Galaxy A6, because it has a larger display, a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a lot higher display pixel density.
Xperia 1 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A6, because it has 96 GB more internal storage and a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xperia 1 has a quite better performance than Galaxy A6, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a little better battery performance than Galaxy A6, because it has an 11% bigger battery capacity. Sony Xperia 1 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy A6, because although it has a back-facing camera with way less MP, it also counts with a way higher video resolution, a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture to capture better low light images and videos.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A6. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy A6, giving up a couple specs and features.
