Asus ROG Phone 8 has a global score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016)'s score of 72.8. The Asus ROG Phone 8 design is noticeably newer than the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016)'s, although it is way heavier and thicker. The Galaxy A7 (2016) features a very superior hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016), because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a larger screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a way better camera than Galaxy A7 (2016), and although they both have a same size aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has a lot better 50 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a much higher video resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A7 (2016), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a superior battery life than Galaxy A7 (2016), because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
