Samsung Galaxy M12 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A7 (2016), with an 80 score against 72.8. Even though Samsung Galaxy M12 is way newer than Galaxy A7 (2016), it's extremely thicker and a lot heavier. Galaxy M12 has a little faster processor than Galaxy A7 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy M12 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a better pixels amount per inch in the display. The Galaxy M12 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016), because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy M12 has a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A7 (2016), because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy M12 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A7 (2016), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos in low light situations, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also counts with a much more mega pixels camera in the back.
