Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has an overall score of 83.8, which is better than Galaxy A7 (2016)'s 72.8 global score. Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is extremely newer than the Galaxy A7 (2016), it's incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker.
