Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a score of 76.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016)'s 72.8 general score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's construction is a lot newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016). Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A7 (2016), because although it has a little worse pixels amount per display inch, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a larger screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy A7 (2016). Both have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy A7 (2016), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a larger aperture to take better images and video in low light situations.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016), and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has 64 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a very superior battery life than Galaxy A7 (2016), because it has a 52 percent greater battery size.
