Galaxy Alpha is slightly better than the Galaxy A7 (2017), having a score of 76.3 against 75.8. Galaxy Alpha is a lighter and thinner phone than Galaxy A7 (2017). Galaxy Alpha has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has less cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Galaxy Alpha has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), although it has a just a bit lower screen density, a way worse 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen. Galaxy A7 (2017) features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A7 (2017) also has an external SD slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy A7 (2017) has a very superior battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3600mAh battery size. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking pictures and video in low light environments and a much less megapixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
