The Xiaomi 12 has a score of 78.8, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)'s 75.8 overall score. Even though the Xiaomi 12 is just a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), it's just a little bit lighter and noticeably newer. The Galaxy A7 (2017) has a much faster processing unit than Xiaomi 12, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Xiaomi 12 features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a bit greater pixels density, a quite better 1080 x 2400px resolution and a bit larger display. The Xiaomi 12 takes way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have the same aperture, the Xiaomi 12 also has a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality and a back-facing camera with a way higher 50 megapixels resolution.
The Xiaomi 12 counts with a bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi 12 has better battery performance than Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
