Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max has an overall score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)'s 75.8 score. Even though Xiaomi Mi Max and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) were released with only a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi Max's body is just a little heavier but also a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017).
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Max captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and video in low light situations, and they both have a camera in the back with a 16 mega-pixels, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has 96 GB more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with better battery performance than Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a 35 percent more battery size.
