The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a global score of 77.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A7 (2017)'s 75.8 global score. Even though Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the Galaxy A7 (2017) were released only 5 months apart, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 body is just a little thinner but heavier. Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) also counts with a bit better pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 1 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a 5300mAh battery size. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and videos in low light situations and a much less mega pixels back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution.
