Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A70, with a score of 79.5 against 76.9. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A70 has Android 10. Despite being the best phone we compare here, the Huawei Mate 20 construction is just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A70.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A70, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A70, although it has a bit smaller display, a quite worse pixels density and a quite lower 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution.
Huawei Mate 20 features a much better camera than Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking photographs and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
Samsung Galaxy A70 has much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A70 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A70 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy A70. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A70, letting go a couple features and specifications.
