Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A70's score of 76.9. Huawei Mate 8 is a a little heavier device than the Galaxy A70, but both have the same thickness. Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy A70, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Galaxy A70 features a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little bit larger screen and a just a little better display pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy A70 counts with more memory for applications and games than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A70 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a greater camera than Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with better 60 frames per second video frame rates. Samsung Galaxy A70 has a little longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy A70. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy A70, resigning a couple specifications.
