Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than Galaxy A70, with an 88.2 score against 76.9. Both devices in this review have the same Android 10 OS, so they should provide you very similar operating system features. The Huawei P40 Pro body is newer than the Galaxy A70's, but it's heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A70, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. Huawei P40 Pro features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density and a slightly higher 1200 x 2640px resolution.
The Galaxy A70 features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A70 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A70 features just a little better battery duration than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 7 percent larger battery size.
Huawei P40 Pro shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy A70, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting photos or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
