Sony Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than the Galaxy A70's global score of 76.9. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia 1 III has 11 version and Galaxy A70 has Android 10. Sony Xperia 1 III is a way newer cellphone than the Galaxy A70, although it is just a little heavier and just a little thicker.
Xperia 1 III counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A70, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 6 GB more RAM. Xperia 1 III features a more vivid screen than Galaxy A70, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution and way more pixels per display inch.
Xperia 1 III captures greater photos and videos than Galaxy A70, and although they both have a F1.7 camera aperture and the same video definition, the Xperia 1 III also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality pictures and higher 120 fps video frame rates. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A70, because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia 1 III's battery performance is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy A70 one.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A70. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy A70, giving up a couple specs and features.
