Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 VI has a score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A70's global score of 76.9. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia 1 VI has newer 14 version and Galaxy A70 has Android 10, giving some nice extra features. The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a way thinner and noticeably lighter device than the Galaxy A70.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 features a much better processing power than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a slightly better screen than Galaxy A70, because it has a lot higher display pixel density, a little bit bigger screen and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.
Sony Xperia 1 VI has a very superior memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A70, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory. The Xperia 1 VI shoots a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same video definition, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with higher 120 fps video frame rates and a much bigger camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality.
Xperia 1 VI has a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A70, because it has an 11% bigger battery size.
