Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Compact is a bit better than the Galaxy A70, with a overall score of 79 against 76.9. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia XZ2 Compact has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy A70 has Android 10 version. The Xperia XZ2 Compact is an older and extremely thicker phone than Galaxy A70, but Sony managed to build it a little lighter anyway.
Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A70, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xperia XZ2 Compact features a sharper screen than Galaxy A70, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2160px resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels number per inch in the display.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much better camera than Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a larger camera sensor taking better quality videos and photographs and better 60 fps video frame rate.
Galaxy A70 has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy A70 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2870mAh.
