The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A70's global score of 76.9. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy A70, but it is a bit lighter. These phones use Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an older 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy A70 has Android 10 version.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better screen than Galaxy A70, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a much greater number of pixels per inch in the display. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a little bit better performance than Galaxy A70, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a GPU.
Galaxy A70 features a much greater storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium takes greater photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A70. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy A70, letting go a couple features and specs.
