Comparison review
The Galaxy A70 has a score of 76.9, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 score. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS, so they should provide you all the same OS features. The Galaxy A70 design is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, even though it was released a bit more more than a year before.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a display that is very similar to the display in Samsung Galaxy A70, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a little smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a bit greater display pixel density. The Galaxy A70 counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy A70 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A70, because it has a 5020mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy A70 is a better device, it is a bit more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
