IPhone 13 Pro Max has a global score of 93.2, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A71's score of 87.5. IPhone 13 Pro Max's body has the same thickness than Galaxy A71, but it's noticeably heavier. The iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x operating system, and Galaxy A71 comes with Android 11 operating system.
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max features a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The Galaxy A71 features a bit superior battery performance than iPhone 13 Pro Max, because it has a 3 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A71. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy A71, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
