Comparison review
Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's overall score of 79.5. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A71 has the previous 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. Galaxy A71's body is thinner and a lot lighter than the Asus ROG Phone 8, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
Galaxy A71 has a much faster processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 6 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a brighter display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a just a little inferior pixel count per screen inch, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a little bit bigger screen.
Galaxy A71 features just a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A71, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a way worse 50 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a lot better video definition and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
