The Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is much better than the Google Pixel 3a XL's general score of 78.9. Although the Galaxy A71 and Google Pixel 3a XL were released with only 9 months difference, Galaxy A71's design is just a little heavier but a little thinner than Google Pixel 3a XL. Both of these phones work with the same Android 11 OS, so they should count with identical OS features.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 and the Google Pixel 3a XL both feature extremely similar screens, because although the Google Pixel 3a XL has a little smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a quite greater display pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a greater camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same video definition and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a much larger sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs and a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
