Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is a bit better than the Google Pixel 4a, getting a general score of 87.5 against 82.9. The Samsung Galaxy A71 body is just a bit thinner but heavier than Google Pixel 4a, and both of them were only released 7 months apart. These devices use the same Android 11 OS, so both should provide identical operating system features.
The Google Pixel 4a has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a bit greater display pixel density. Google Pixel 4a's CPU is just as good as the processor in Galaxy A71, both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores.
Galaxy A71 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A71 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A71 features a superior battery duration than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 43 percent more battery size.
Galaxy A71 shoots way better photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality photos and a camera with way more MP.
Samsung Galaxy A71 is more expensive than the Google Pixel 4a, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
