Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is just a bit better than Galaxy A71, with an 89.4 score against 87.5. These phones use Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A71 has Android 11 version, so it offers lots of additional features. Huawei Mate X is better than the Galaxy A71, we must note that it is also a way heavier and way thicker cellphone.
The Huawei Mate X features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A71, because it has a way higher 2200 x 2480 resolution, a larger screen and a little better display pixel density. The Huawei Mate X has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A71, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate X has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei Mate X and Galaxy A71 have really similar batteries. Samsung Galaxy A71 takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, and although they both have the same aperture and a same size sensor, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A71. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy A71, resigning a couple features and specifications.
